A copy of this letter has been sent home with your child with more detailed information regarding his/her schedule and teachers’ details.
Your child will have one specialist lesson a week in Art, ICT (Computers), Library, Music, and Swimming, and two Physical Education (PE) lessons.
Swimming is compulsory. If your child is not well enough to swim, then they probably should not be at school. If you do not want your child to swim for a medical reason, please send a note.
Your child needs to bring his/her swimsuit, goggles, and a towel. Long hair should be braided on swimming days or a swim cap worn. We will not phone you if your child does not bring his/her equipment, however repeated failure to participate will result in communication with you about this.
Students need to wear sports shoes on PE days. Students can choose to change their clothes for PE but must wear their uniforms the rest of the day.
Homework is an important part of learning. Please make sure your child has the following equipment at home:
• a writing pencil,
• a packet of coloured pencils,
• a pencil sharpener,
• an eraser,
• a ruler.
• scissors, (occasionally), and
• glue (occasionally).
RAZ-Kids access will be updated to your child’s new class during the first two weeks of school. A new login card will be provided.
If you have any questions or concerns, you can write a note (in English or Khmer) in your child’s communication book in the space provided, send a separate note (in English or Khmer), send an e-mail in English to firstname.lastname@example.org or telephone the office to arrange a meeting.
