Due to unforeseen circumstances, our East-West Open Day has been rescheduled until further notice. This event will include information about the Elementary, Secondary and Khmer Curriculums. Keep an eye on Facebook and our website for more updates on this.

Athletics and after school activities

After school activities for Elementary students will start on Monday, 26 August. A letter will be sent home with students today. Please mark which activities your child would like to participate in, sign and pay for this at the school office.

A full schedule for games will be announced next week, and we hope you can join us for what will be an exciting year in the Thunderdome.

Academic Announcements

We are proud to announce that our students received a 100% pass rate on the Grade 6 National Khmer Exams! Congratulations to Mr. Ny Nikmul and our entire KGE department, as well as all of our students!

Cambridge International Examination results were released last week and teachers are ecstatic about the accomplishments. We are pleased to announce that our students accomplished a 100% pass rate in the Grade 10 IGCSE Math and Grade 10 IGCSE Physics exams. Well done to all of our students who took exams last year!

Other News

Hagar Catering will start serving breakfast in the mornings from Monday, 26 August. This will be a cash pay-as-you-go option where students can purchase a variety of breakfast options. Pork and rice, egg sandwiches, fried rice and pastries will be available as well as juice, fresh milk, tea and coffee (for adults only). They will be stationed downstairs between the court and office.

We are excited to announce that the Media Room has been completed for our new Digital Media classes. With a green wall, media equipment and iMacs in place, we are ready for creative content and exploration.

Impact Explorer Cambodia and CamConscious Tourism are running their 3rd annual Creative writing and Photography competition – with the theme of TRAVEL GREEN.TRAVEL LOCAL. We encourage our students to participate in activities that exercise their skills and qualities as Responsible World Citizens and Active Community Members. Both the photography and creative writing competitions are open to students aged 15 years and older. Competition closes: 1 September 2019. InvestIN is running a ‘Step Into The Future’ challenge for students between the age of 12 and 18. All you have to do is fill out your answers to four questions about your dream job and submit it before Friday, 23 August 2019. Winners will receive a £150 Amazon voucher.
