Our East-West Parents Day will be held on Friday, 6 September. This event will include information about key contact people at school, curriculum, and changes to the program for the 2019-2020 academic year. Keep an eye on Facebook and our website for more updates on this, including a full schedule for the day.

Athletics and After-School Activities

After-school activities for Elementary students started on Monday, 26 August. Sports, arts and cultural activities are offered by our teachers to build well-rounded skills and encourage our students to try everything.

Academic Announcements

There will be a Secondary school assembly for all secondary students and teachers on Thursday, 29 August from 2:00-2:45 pm in the assembly hall. There will be no secondary classes during this time.

Elementary assemblies for students and teachers will take place on Friday, 30 August. Kindergarten – Grade 2 will meet from 7:30 – 8:10 am in Ms. Angie’s room (M.44) and Grades 3 – 5 will meet from 9:30 – 10:10 am in the assembly hall.

Our Elementary Principal, Charles Howgill, and Student Support Specialist, Chris Corral, will be meeting with Grade 12 students on Thursday, 29 August to discuss university entrance and application processes. With a wealth of experience, they hope to guide students on a more focused career and university path.

Other News

Hagar Catering has started serving breakfast every morning downstairs near the office. Students can pay in cash on days they wish to order breakfast.

We are excited to announce that the Robotics room is complete and ready for exciting robotics projects! This is the future, and we aim to develop skills that will assist our students in critical thinking and future careers.

Dr. Alan Wark from American University of Phnom Penh has invited our secondary school students to attend a free SAT class at their campus on Saturday, 31 August. AUPP offer short SAT courses as well as internationally recognized US accredited dual degree programs through the University of Arizona.
