Academic Announcements

At the Book Week opening assembly High School Digital Media students (Grades 9-12) showcased their latest work. They are learning new techniques with filming, lighting, video editing and special effects by recreating scenes from their favorite movies. To view the showreel, click here.

We welcomed Melissa Liu from Energy Lab and Thiny Tep and David Phim from Liger to host a Clean Energy workshop at our school on Tuesday, 5 November for selected Grade 10, 11 and 12 students.

Today, 6 November Grade 11 and 12 Food Chemistry students went on a field trip to experience the inner workings of Tonle Bassac culinary school, La Pop Ice Cream factory and Krispy Kreme factory.

Cambridge re-sit examinations run until Thursday, 14 November.

Athletics and After-School Activities

Well done to all the Grade 4 – 5 students who played in the football tournament at ISPP this past Saturday. They will receive certificates of participation for their stellar efforts.

Today, 6 November Grade 2 – 5 students took part in the second YAPP event of the year – Football. It is important that we encourage all our boys and girls to try a variety of sports.

Other News

On Friday, 1 November students enjoyed a fun Halloween donut-decorating activity and the Student Council Halloween event for secondary students. We would like to extend a big thank you to Sandy from Only One Planet as well as Vichika and her team from Krispy Kreme Cambodia for their presence at the Halloween event last Friday.

 Upcoming Events

Book Week 4 Nov to 8 Nov – A special weeklong schedule has been planned for both elementary and secondary students to encourage members of our community to develop into readers. We would like to invite parents to the closing assembly on Friday, 8 November from 7:45 – 8:15am. Monument Books will have a wide range of books for sale at discounted prices from Wednesday, 6 November to Friday, 8 November.

School will be closed for Water Festival from Monday, 11 November until Wednesday, 13 November. School will resume on Thursday, 14 November.
