School Operations Manager

My name is Sarun, and I currently serve as the School Coordinator and Operations Manager at East-West International School (EWIS). I have been with EWIS since its inception in 2006, starting my journey as a Preschool Teacher Assistant. As the school grew, I was promoted to the position of Khmer language teacher. EWIS has always prioritized professional development, offering valuable training courses for staff members, which I greatly appreciate. Teaching has always been my passion, and I find joy in working with children from diverse backgrounds.
 
In 2006, I took on the role of School Coordinator, and I am proud to be celebrating my 19th year at East-West International. What I greatly appreciate most about EWIS is the freedom it provides. I have the flexibility to teach in my own style while aligning with the school’s goals, vision, and mission. This approach also informs my work as a School Coordinator and Operations Manager. I thrive on challenges and love to learn new things. I hope to see EWIS develop into a unique community where we create our own culture, free from racism, where we respect and care for one another.

Hi everyone! My name is Chanry. I have been working at East West for almost 5 years now. I work in the main office as a receptionist.

Khmer Teacher

Hi everyone! My name is Yea Yousuor. I graduated from Royal University of Phnom Penh in Khmer Literature. I  have worked as an educator for 20 years in public school and I have been working at EWIS for 10 years  as a Khmer literature teacher.  I’m happy teaching here and love sharing knowledge with our students. I have a wife and a daughter.

Grade 4 Khmer Teacher

Hi! I am Vichheka. I have been working at East West since 2015 and I teach students in grade 4 Khmer. I am really excited to support students to develop their skills. I am happy to come back this year.

Head of Marketing

Hi! I’m Meng, I’m the Communications Coordinator and an East-West alumni. After graduating I started working here while pursuing my Bachelor degrees online.

Outside of work I own multiple businesses and coach our Junior and Senior Girls Volleyball Teams. Competing will always be a passion of mine.
