Our youngest students learn to adjust to school routines and a bilingual learning environment. Each class has a foreign, English-speaking teacher and a Khmer-speaking assistant. Basic English vocabulary is developed around themes and students are introduced to the English alphabet and phonetic sounds through the “Zoo-Phonics” teaching program.
We teach numbers and patterns to develop mathematical thinking and foster creativity through art, crafts and music. Physical Education classes help develop their coordination skills.
Spacious outdoor learning areas and stimulating resources encourage students to learn using all their senses, as well as develop the coordination and physical skills required to become well-rounded individuals.
