Class Of 2023

Monika Heng has earned a well deserved spot on the Honor Roll, achieving full grades of A/A*, demonstrating her unwavering commitment to her academics. Her hard work extends to the student council where she participated as a member and secured her exemplary role as the Student Council Secretary. Her leadership skills and passion for giving back to the community extends through her volunteer work at Cambodia Tech Expo 2022. Moreover, Monika’s intellectual prowess has been recognized, as she emerged victorious in an Academic Writing Workshop, marking her as a true scholar. 

Monika is now continuing her academic journey at Mahidol University in Thailand, pursuing a degree in Biomedical Sciences.

Class Of 2022

Elizabeth Treng was able to secure a remarkable 100% full scholarship at a prestigious Panyapiwat Institute of Management in Thailand, which is a testament to her true dedication to her academics. She was able to keep her spot in the top 3 winners for the science fair for three consecutive years alongside participating in East-Wests annual concerts and designing the schools council merchandise. 

Elizabeth’s journey now takes place in Thailand pursuing business studies at prestigious Panyapiwat Institute of Management in Thailand.

Class Of 2022

Serin Baek not only was Valedictorian of the Class of 2022 but she also achieved a distinction on her AICE cambridge diploma, showcasing her unwavering commitment to academic excellence. Serin served as the student council president, founder of the Model United Nations (MUN) Club and of the Study Buddy program. Additionally beyond her academics, she demonstrated her persistence and leadership skills on the volleyball court

Serin’s journey has now taken an international turn as she is now the Presidential Science Scholar of South Korea and is pursuing pharmacology at UCL in London.

Class Of 2021

Sok Keo Darapich was the EWIS Valedictorian of the 2021 class, not only showcasing her academic excellence but her keen commitment to hard work and eloquence. Earning herself As and A* in the Cambridge Exams and achieving A grade in the Khmer National Exam.

Her true dedication and hard work has paid off with an honorable CIMB ASEAN Scholarship Award 2023, to Monash University. She will be continuing her academic journey in Australia pursuing studies in Economics and Finance.

Class of 2018 Valedictorian

A big congratulations to East-West alumni Alethea Chong for graduating with a Bachelor of Arts Degree (with Honors) in Contemporary Music (Audio Technology) from Sunway University in Malaysia. Ally was the Class of 2018 Valedictorian, Student Council President, leader of House Voroman, and a world-class student in every subject she took.

In the long run, Ally’s goal is to go into curriculum development and to design a music course for middle-high school aged students to teach them music production and audio technology.
