Kindergarten Teacher and Early Years Coordinator
This is my 26th year teaching and the start of my 7th year here at East-West. When this year completes, I will have taught at East-West for as many years as I was in my own classroom in Akron, Ohio before moving to Asia. I taught for 3 years in Penang, Malaysia before moving to Cambodia.
My passion in teaching is to teach little ones to read and enjoy books. I love bringing Literacy into every area of school. I grew up hating to read, so I want students to leave my classroom with a love of reading.
I hold a Master’s in K-2 Literacy.
I’m also very passionate about having manipulative and fun things for the students to use to help them solidify their learning.
