I am Nikmul. I am Cambodian and I’m a Khmer General Education Principal. It has been 8 years since I started work at EWIS after previously working for NGOs. I have been a teacher in public school also.
With a strong background in education and leadership, I hold a Master’s Degree in Education Administration from the National Institute of Education Cambodia and a Master’s Degree in Development Management from Norton University of Cambodia.
I also earned a Higher Education Teaching Degree from the National Institute of Education Cambodia, a Bachelor’s Degree in Arts in English, and completed the Pedagogy of Primary Teaching program. Over the past 20 years, I have gained extensive experience in the education sector, serving as a Khmer Principal at East-West International School for seven years, teaching secondary school in
the government sector for more than 15 years, and working as a primary school teacher for five years. Additionally, I spent five years as an English teacher and coordinator for an NGOs.
As the Khmer General Education Program Principal, I am deeply committed to preserving and enhancing Khmer education by promoting high-quality teaching and learning. I believe in fostering a strong foundation in Khmer language, culture, and values while integrating modern educational practices to prepare students for success. My dedication lies in creating an engaging, student-centered
environment where learners can develop critical thinking, creativity, and a lifelong learning. Through collaboration with educators, students, and the community, I strive to strengthen the Khmer General Education program and ensure it remains a pillar of academic excellence.
